| Prime Minister David Cameron and First Minister Alex Salmon, about to slap box. |
The Scottish National Party,
that came to power last year, is about to overthrow the Iron Heel of the United
Kingdom. Or something like that.
After discussions
with Prime Minister David “Edward the Longshanks” Cameron, First Minister Alex “William
Wallace” Salmond (the leader of the Scottish government) is going to bring a
Yes/No referendum to the people of Scotland in 2014: do you want to stay in the
UK or no?
The SNP says that
“Independence is about making Scotland more successful.”
If that doesn’t convince you, here is an insane YouTube video:
David Cameron, for his part, said he really wants to keep
the United Kingdom together.
Whatever happens in 2014, sources have informed The
Gadfly Press that Mel Gibson is already eying the referendum as material for
Braveheart Part Two. At least, that's what we all hope.
